The Composites Material, Manufacturing & Testing Technology programme is a 3-day integrated classroom and hands-on training programme designed to build strong foundational knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and testing technologies.
The programme introduces participants to composite material systems, reinforcements, resin matrices, core materials, manufacturing processes, curing methods, and laminate behaviour. It further covers inspection techniques, defect identification, quality documentation, and basic laboratory and non-destructive testing methods. Classroom learning is reinforced through live workshop demonstrations and testing laboratory exposure, enabling participants to develop practical, shop-floor–ready competencies.
- Junior to senior-level working professionals from Production, Planning, Quality, and Design/Engineering functions
- Operators and technicians working or aspiring to work in composite manufacturing
- Freshers and graduate engineers from Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, Materials, Production, and allied disciplines
- New employees or trainees entering the composite manufacturing industry

No prior technical background or industrial experience is required.
Participants should have basic language comprehension (Hindi or English) and familiarity with general safety practices.
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- Understand composite material fundamentals including fibres, resins, and core materials
- Gain awareness of reinforcement forms and resin systems used in composite manufacturing
- Understand major composite manufacturing and curing processes
- Identify key industrial applications of composites across multiple sectors
- Recognise common quality defects, understand their causes, and apply prevention techniques
- Perform basic visual inspections and understand laboratory and NDT testing methods
- Understand quality documentation, certifications, and inspection requirements
- Follow safe practices for material handling, storage, and environmental compliance
- Support cross-functional teams (CFT) across design, production, quality, maintenance, and stores with improved technical competency

Certification
Participants will receive an LICT Certificate of Participation upon successful completion.
